Historical Forecast Data?

So I'm working on a project for my statistics class involving daily maximum temperature forecast verification using a combination of ASOS/AWOS observed data and data observed from personal weather stations via Weather Underground. Most of this data is recorded and available for short-term retrieval without too much trouble.

What I'm not so sure how to find is historical forecast data for a certain day. Does anyone know of a good place to find temperature forecasts for say, a week prior to the current date?

I don't think there are too many places that are available with the free information that you're looking for, unless you had a friend that kept records as a hobby. I think NOAA even charges for certain information that may be archived.

What I'm actually looking for, though, is historical forecast information - what the temperature was predicted to be for the day, rather than what the observed maximums and minimums were.
